We had a wonderful Easter this year. The boys were so much fun to watch as they enjoyed looking through the goodies that the Easter bunny brought them. The first thing Logan asked when he got up on Sunday was "has the Easter bunny been here?"
Brooks got some bath toys, a couple of books, and of course, his first chocolate bunny.
Logan got a kite, lots of candy, a water gun, and the movie, The Water Horse, along with a few other things that I am sure I am forgetting to add to the list.
The highlight of the day was going to church. Every Sunday, our place is in church, but especially Easter Sunday. Easter is a celebration of our risen Savior and being thankful for the sacrifices He made for us and Him dying on the cross for our sins. What an awesome thought!!!We started the day with breakfast there with our wonderful friends and church family. We then had Sunday School and our service. Our good friends, Samantha and Sarah, even joined us. It was great to see them and have them with us. Sarah and Brooks had some fun together but I was never able to get a good picture of them together, imagine that :) Neither one of them can sit still for 5 seconds.
I hope that everyone had a blessed Easter filled with good times and wonderful memories. The only thing that could have made ours better was time with my family and friends in Franklin and Nashville. Maybe next year we can spend some time with them.
