My Little Pumpkin

I don't think that there is anything more cute or fun than a baby's first Halloween. This is one of the few years that you get to decide what they will be for Halloween. My littlest man is going to be a pumpkin and Logan is going to be Batman. This was an outfit I got for him at Target. It says My First Halloween...couldn't pass it up, especially with the little hat to go with it.

Brooks is a little better today. I had to leave work early because he wouldn't take a bottle from Daddy. Daddy did his best to get as much Pedialyte in him as he could with a syringe but he was lethargic and had no urine output since 5 am, so I came on home. I'm not sure if he won't take a bottle because he doesn't feel well or he is just being hard-headed but today was not a good day for him to pull this. As soon as I got home, he nursed like a champ and seemed to perk up after that. Anyone with some tips on getting a baby that is breastfed to take a bottle, please let me know. Any other time, I would say "he'll eat when he gets hungry" but not when he is recovering from this stomach bug. Tomorrow is a new day. Darrell and I sure felt better after 48 hours so hopefully he will.

Poor baby you can tell in his eyes that he doesn't feel that great-what an awful bug. I sure hope he feels better soon. Of course, I love the outfit his girlfriend has one just like it!!

I love that outfit! I think the hat is the cutest part...that is so cute!!! Him and his little girlfriend will have to take pictures in their matching outfits...of course when poor little Brooks feels better.

Adorable outfit!
Dont know if you have talked to Sam. But I told her what worked for Mason was holding him facing outward, like his back to my chest (upright), and walking with him while feeding the bottle. My Mom did it first and then when Chuck tried to feed him that way he took it also. I got that idea from a breastfeeding book I have. Hope that helps.

I am so glad that you are all feeling better! I am so sorry that you were all sick....that just makes it seem like it lasts forever when it passes from one person to the next. He DOES look absolutely adorable in that outfit! So cute! I wish I knew some breast-to-bottle tricks, but my boys were as stubborn as they come and I couldn't "trick" them into anything they didn't want to do! Mama's just seem to make it better, don't they?!?
