Darrell is in the process in laying hardwood floor in our house (the entire downstairs that is not tile). He is using this long weekend to get most of it done. The reason we are having to do this is because Logan decided to bust one of his non-washable blue markers all over the carpet in our living room. Darrell and I tried so hard to get it out. Initially it looked as if it was out but overnight, when it dried, it came back to the surface. We had been talking about taking up the carpet for quite some time. This was our reason to finally do it. Now that it is coming up, we are realizing how dirty it is underneath the carpet. I'll bet our allergies will be better when he is done.
Darrell has his work cut out for him, but as you can tell, he has a very good helper. Logan loves to do whatever Daddy is doing and to learn from him. Darrell is letting him do as much as he can safely do. I cant' wait to see the finished product. I will post "after" pictures when he is done.

It is looking good, I can't wait to see it when it is all done. Darrell couldn't have a better helper!! Logan is REALLY starting to turn into a little man and he is getting so so big.
Wow...how is it that the male species just looks as if they know what they are doing around power tools?!? Even Logan looks like he has been putting down hardwood floors for years! What a priceless picture...dad's little helper!
