1 year Blogoversay

It seems so long ago that I started my blog. I can still remember the day that Samantha talked me into starting it. It has been a lot of fun keeping family and friends informed about our life and keeping up with other's blogs as well. It is fun to look back at where we started and how much the boys have grown and changed in a year's time. Thanks to everyone who stops by to visit the life of the Poteet family.

Temper Tantrum 101

Well, here you have it. Little Brooks Reid has learned how to pitch a good temper tantrum when things to don't go just as he had expected. Here are a few pictures for proof, if you didn't already believe me. I just can't wait because we aren't anywhere near the "terrible 2's"!!





Not 5 minutes later, this is what you have. Happy as a clam eating his baby goldfish and drinking his milk.

But it quickly turns to this.......
What am I going to do??? I love EVERY second of it. Children are the most wonderful blessing but do please pray for me :)

The New Way to Sleep

This is the way that we find Brooks sleeping many nights when we go in to check on him. I don't know how he could be comfortable but it doesn't seem to effect his sleep in the least. The interesting thing about it is, I used to sleep in the very same position when I was a baby. Guess he comes by it honestly!

4th of July Fun

We had a little family picnic today at a local water/park area. It is the neatest little place because it has water fountains for the kids to run through, a playground area, and then some picnic tables to enjoy your lunch. Logan had a blast running through the fountains and can make friends with a rock so he met several little boys while we there. Brooks was not too fond of the water because of it's temperature, so he was fine playing on the playground area.

Brooks is really unsure about all of it!! Think I'll stay with Daddy where it's safe.
